Distribution of intervals. The size distribution of the three types of interval is shown in different colours. The expected distribution for random positioning across the genome is shown in green. The y-axis shows the percentage of observations of each type and the x-axis marks size bins. The size bins start at the size shown on the axis and extend to 1.78 times that size. Due to the logarithmic scale of the x-axis, the bins are of equal width on the axis but not in base pairs.
